Better Argument: Editorial Magazine Platform

The Institute for Classical Dialogue wanted a digital home for its magazine that felt as considered as its essays: editorial typography, clear categories, a writers directory, and commerce for the inaugural print issue, without the generic look of off-the-shelf magazine themes.

What we built

A custom publishing platform built around long-form reading: a taxonomy-driven blog across Technology, Culture, Politics, and Economics, individual writer profiles, a store for subscriptions and issue preorders, and a donation flow, all in a classical aesthetic that matches the publication's intellectual tone.

  • Next.js
  • TypeScript
  • Sanity CMS
  • Stripe
  • Tailwind CSS
